ACCESS STATEMENT FOR RIVIERE SUNSET HOLIDAYS

”Morryp” Beach Bungalow, Hayle.

Pre-Arrival

  • Enquiries can be made via website enquiry, email, phone, or postal service.
  • The nearest Bus stop to the Beach Bungalow is 600m from the entrance.
  • The nearest train station is located in the town of Hayle distance is 3 miles away. Taxi collection can be arranged.
  • We can arrange for shopping to be delivered on arrival.
  • We can provide information in large print on request.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

  • There is car parking adjacent to the property. A parking permit is issued upon arrival.
  • The Car park is tarmaced – flat and even.
  • The Car park area is lit via street lighting during periods of darkness.
  • The Car park is over looked by the Beach property, which is accessed via steps.
  • 7 steps of slight uneven character – 20cm high, 30cm deep, 100cm wide. A handrail is present on the left when ascending.
  • Parking is 5m away from the entrance.

Main Entrance

  • The main entrance door has 1 step – 20cm high, 40cm deep, 90cm wide. The door is hinged on the right.
  • The door is 74cm wide and the keyhole lock is 100cm high.
  • The front elevated patio door is also accessed via a step of above specifications. The door slides to the right if entering from the outside. Key access as above.
  • The main entrance leads into the open plan living, kitchen and dining areas.

General (Internal) Specifications

  • The flooring throughout the Beach Bungalow is high quality teak wood.
  • All rooms throughout the property are fitted with vertical blinds these are flame retardant. The degree of closure is adjusted via an attached handle.
  • Smoke alarms are fitted in the kitchen and corridor, which connects the open plan living, kitchen and dining areas to the bedrooms.
  • All rooms are serviced with an adjustable heating system.

Lounge and Dining Region

  • There is free space of 1m clear of doors and furniture.
  • Furniture is moveable. All furniture is non-feather.
  • One double sofa and two single chairs provided. Both have arm rests.
  • Entertainment system included TV with remote control and Freeview, also available are DVD, stereo with CD and radio broadcaster.
  • The dining room is open plan with the lounge and kitchen.
  • A rectangular built in table with legs on four corners. Being 1.7m long, and 90cm wide. Height of the breakfast bar is 75cm.
  • The dining table is serviced with 5 chairs. The chairs are moveable with padded seats and arm rests.

Self-Catering Kitchen

  • The kitchen is open plan with dining area and lounge.
  • Worktop height 93cm.
  • Oven door is a drop down style; height of lowest shelf 70cm, situated above the built-in oven is a microwave at a height of 1.3m.
  • Sink is 93cm high.
  • Electric Hob is 93cm high.
  • At least 1.5m free space between all furniture and worktops.
  • Evenly lit kitchen with spotlights above work surfaces and ceiling.
  • Fridge with small freezer compartment available, highest shelf in fridge 50cm.
  • The kitchen area is surrounded via storage cupboards. The highest being 1.4m above floor surface.

Laundry

  • A standard size washer dryer is present. This is front loading, provided in the kitchen area.

Bedroom 1

  • Door width 74cm. Access is via a sliding door.
  • Double bed provided. Length 1.94m.
  • Bed height 42cm floor to top of mattress.
  • Non-Feather duvets and pillows provided.
  • Sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases are cotton.
  • A profile length mirror is provided.
  • Basin and Vanity mirror with storage space provided. Also serviced with lighting system.
  • Basin is serviced with both hot and cold water supply.
  • Bed is moveable if more space is required to one side.
  • Bedside lighting is provided.
  • Built-in wardrobes are accessed via a pull to open door. Handle is 1.05m above floor surface.
  • Room is fitted with 4 mains power points.
  • A single chair with armrests is provided.
  • A dressing/make-up shelf is provided with hairdryer.

Bedroom 2

  • Door width 74cm. Access is via a hinged door. Opening to the right.
  • Double bed provided. Length 1.94m.
  • Bed height 42cm floor to top of mattress.
  • Non-Feather duvets and pillows provided.
  • Sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases are cotton.

Bathroom & WC

  • Door width is 74cm. Accessed via a hinged door.
  • An electric power shower is provided. Accessed by a step of 20cm. Through watertight doors. These are open via sliding, with the door handle 1.06m above floor surface.
  • An anti-slip mat is present within the shower.
  • Free space in the bathroom (free of doors and furniture) is approximately 2m.
  • Toilet seat height 40cm.
  • Minimal available space to the left of toilet.
  • A heated towel rail is present. Temperature is controlled by a preset thermostat.
  • Release mechanism on outside of locked door.
  • Washbasin, vanity cupboard and worktop surface available. Storage available under worktop surface.
  • Window open/closure handle is 1.30m above floor surface.

Grounds and Garden

  • Garden (grassed) to front of property has access to patio furniture.
  • Beach access is approximately 45m from property. Use of access steps as previously stated must be undertaken.

  • Good mobile phone reception.
  • Refuse is collected on a weekly basis. TBA.
  • The Beach Bungalow is No smoking.
  • The Beach Bungalow does not accept Pets.
  • Children’s Cot available upon request.
